If a British registered motor cycle is in an other EEC country with only 3rd party cover from a British company but without mot, do the insurance company have any obligation to pay 3rd parties in the event of an injury to the third party?

Do the insurers know it has no MOT and that it is not in the country? How long has it been out of the country and when will it be back?

A typical policy might state: We will not pay for any loss, damage or liability if you do not have a valid MOT test certificate when the law says you must have one.

Hope that helps.
